Web Almonor

Engineer

Web has been working in the sound engineering field for over 10 years. He began his journey in live sound recording as an assistant to the former road manager of Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, a beloved 1970’s Philadelphia soul group. The experience deepened his knowledge of and connection with sound design and it still feeds his dedication to and gratitude for his craft. Artists Web has worked with include Casanova, A Boogie, Don Q, Lola Brooke, and Trinidad James.

In the studio, Web focuses on helping clients feel as comfortable as possible and encourages them to paint a picture through their music especially for the world to be apart of. When it comes to his approach in the studio, Web says, “I’m going to push you to be the best version of you.” He has a genuine care for his clients and their art regardless of genre. He’s recorded for artists of most every genre (country is still on his bucket list!) and he is most familiar with hip hop which he loves.

Web earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from City College of New York, holds an Associates in Applied Science in Music Electronics Technology and is certified in AVID Pro Tools. He has a strong passion for analog recording and gained his experience as a studio recording engineer through working with several recording studios in Brooklyn and Manhattan; as well as for a radio show.
